“Rock and Roll has no beginning and no end for it is the very pulse of life itself.”
– Larry Williams
That is some quote! We couldn’t agree more with Larry Williams. We run an event called Brewers Plate and we are super excited to share the news that Brendan Canning, founding member of Broken Social Scene, will perform two DJ sets at Brewers Plate 2016 inside Corus Quay. This makes a whole lotta sense, since Rock & Roll is the key theme to the Brewers Plate. Here are 7 Brewers Plate facts to showcase how Rock & Roll this exclusive event has become:
- Guests dress up their favorite rock band T-shirt. That’s the dress code!
- Guests enjoy one-of-a-kind food and beer pairings from rock star chefs and rock star brewers.
- Brendan Canning will perform two DJ sets.
- 102.1 the Edge’s Carly Meyers will host the evening.
- Q107’s John Garbutt will DJ all other parts of the evening.
- There will be a tonne of Rock & Roll prizes up for auction. (Signed guitars, concert tickets)
- The entire evening supports War Child Canada.
